At beginning of main street in Potsdam, next to Brandenburg Gate, start of walking only street. Attractive restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating, outdoor is where you want to be, people watch and fresh air. You can make reservations which we did not know, but only 10 minutes and we had a nice size table. Burgers, fries, salads, everything we ordered was delicious, large portions, filling and served by staff with big smiles on their faces. There are many other places to eat, but we found a real winner. There is a couch area next door to have cocktails while waiting for a table or just sit and drink. Beers were very tasty after a long hot day biking. Reasonable, filling, good food, and great service, all add up to, go there.

The service was great and the staff really friendly, we didn&#39;t speak Germany but we managed to understand each others,just wish there was an English menu for tourists

What a beautiful, cozy restaurant! Very relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and a very nice waitress. This is a vegetarian restaurant that also offers several vegan options, some even gluten-free. All their ingredients are organic. Hubby had a vegetarian tortilla with &quot;Kraeuterquark&quot;, (kind of cottage cheese/cream cheese dip with lots of herbs) and leafy greens, topped with a superb dressing and white beans for more protein. He loved it, although he is a carnivore. Because it was so filling he skipped dinner later that evening. I had a lovely vegan vegetable strudel, also with salad greens and white beans and a very flavorful soy yogurt dip. As I was quite hungry I finished with an excellent vegan chocolate cake cum chicory &quot;coffee&quot; with soy milk. The soy milk was made from soybeans grown in the south of Germany and tasted so much better than the ordinary stuff you get in the supermarkets. The young waitress was very charming and all smiles when she received a tip. If this place was in my town I would be a regular. Next time in Potsdam we will definitely return.

I have visited this restaurant twice on my recent visit to Potsdam and They have a great menu of items which can quickly fill a hole and allow you to eat while working. They have eat in and take away option available. Tomato Soup is amazing can&#39;t speech more highly of it and the Burgers are Great. They also have a range of german dishes and I can recommend the curry wurst. As I said it is not overly special but good value and a great place to eat with friendly staff

The Brandenburger Tor blocks the evening sun, making this the best place on the platz for dinner. Drinks and wine are excellent quality and reasonably priced. Service is professional and excellent. Some servers are English speaking, but not all. The pizza and burgers were well liked by all who had them. The people watching is great. Get a table outside and enjoy the evening.

Good location in the busy square, had a great pasta but all the food looked great, good service friendly staff
